University of B.C. commerce students were warned that failing to approve the spending of $200,000 for a sexual assault counsellor would further damage the reputation of their school, yet they overwhelmingly rejected the idea in a referendum. Just 245 of 815 student voters backed the expenditure in the weekend vote.
