PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Parkland Ambulance says a woman was seriously injured by a log splitter in Saskatchewan on Saturday afternoon.

At 1:48 p.m., paramedics responded to the Emma Lake area.

A 39-year-old woman suffered serious hand injuries when her hand got caught in a log splitter.

She was taken to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, Sask. for treatment.
