Terry Brine, whose historic New Westminster office block was destroyed by fire Thursday morning, says he is looking to the future for a rebuild although he admitted having a hard time recognizing the past. “I keep looking at the site trying to see anything recognizable but there’s nothing — just bricks and more bricks,” he said while standing on the corner of Columbia and McKenzie just before noon on Friday.
